Everything comes from Europe or US is considered expensive branded items
such as handbags, suits, shoes and children clothings. For example, a
coach handbags bought in US at average price of $240 but the same one
being sellhere at RM2,400 or equivalent to $800. The same happened to
other brand, Michael Korrs, LVs, Todds, Tie Rack, Levis, Osh Kosh,
Clark, Timberland etc...., even though some of the clothing or shoes
made from China or Thailand which we can purchase at cheaper price here.
That's why, Malaysian people would like to go to EU, London or USA for
shopping. Well, the rich one....
Designer items and hijab - there are many Middle Eastern visiting Malaysia every year as a tourist, maybe because of the less heat weather
we have, compared to their countries, or maybe because easy to get halal
food as we are Muslim country. Surprisingly they spent a lot of money
for shopping branded and expensive items here, and the price, you know,
is much much more expensive because they are rich.
They (the women) using branded items and glittering
clothes inside the black clothes, but they dont show to persons other
than the family members and only to women. This is because the God
create women to be beautiful in the eyes of men, and also to protect
them from the men's naughty thought. That's why Muslim women must cover
their body and hair, so that men will respect them sincerely. But it
works the other way round, where people is scared looking at us.
Me? just a normal woman who like to see beautiful things, whom I
consider myself as window shopper, and always careful on what am spent.
I'm not a big spender, anyway..... but sometimes it is worth buying. Even
though wearing hijab, we still can wear jeans, blouse, long skirt,
shoes, jackets, handbags, etc.. as long as they cover the body.

Religion - self opinion about hijab
We are only human, and the nature of us, we love money, we love women
(for men), and there are 1001 things that women love in life...People
will tend to do whatever ways to get what they want in life. The things
that differs is only how they put a limit in certain things, and for me,
it should refers to the religion point of view. All religions (either
Muslim or Christian) want their followers to be good but "STILL", it
depends to the people to make choice because God give 'mind' to people.
And this is one of the reason that we believe in heaven and hell after
life, where we must be responsible on our choice.
I understand generally abt the Western perception to Muslim women. They will put a limit to be friend or to refrain themselves to them. So it serves the purpose. This is part of the purpose of wearing hijab. Anyway, there is a proper way to get familiar with them by approaching her brother or her father first. There is no limit for the Western to be friend with the Muslim male, anyway...
Honour killings - Islam is a religion emphasize on family dignity. In Islam, to kill other people is totally wrong, there always rules as a guidance. I think mostly 'the honour killing' incurred were depend on their own judgement, not from the Islamic view. At the first place, killing people is a big sin, BUT you're allowed to kill people if those people are dangerous for you and the community. Sometimes, people make mistakes but there are chances given by God to correct the mistakes. That's why we called it God is the Most Gracious and Most Merciful.
Islam is only ONE religion and it is the same in all countries, but the things that make it difference is the culture. For simple example, Muslim women must cover their body. The Arabs culture, they wearing big black clothes, Bangladeshis, well you're more familiar with them, Malaysian, you know my style, moderate. But still there are choices, either it is right or wrong.

Visit to Washington DC (Mar 15-24, 2013)
The jetlag thing is better, even though sometimes "zzzzz" inside my
cubicle in the office. Everybody is going back to hometown with daddy
because its school holiday. There are a load of work to settle after
more than a week missing.
Mar 17, 2013
I went to Leesburg premium Outlet, about 45 minutes drive from Washington DC. Well... everything seems to went on well, before we discover the 'crazy sales' at the Coach outlet. So it became 'out-of-control' when we started grabbing and peeping at each other shopping bags, asking the sales assistance, how to get this one and that, how much the price after the discount plus another discounts....etc..., finding and adding up the items and also (as usual) teasing and pushing each other to buy more and more!! He! He! He!! it was a good experience, and I think I can be a salesman in part time basis. Anyway, quite proud of myself, as am the only one who can control myself, although ending up of buying more than my budget... Hu! Hu!! Hu!!
COACH ~ is one of the famous handbag brand (other than LVs, etc.) in Malaysia but originate from USA. The price of these good in Malaysia is about three times higher than in USA itself. So I bought many of them (only wristlet average price of $30 each after 50% discount) as gifts to my friends and a few more handbags for me. Woowww... shopping is heaven until I realised my cash was dry. Oppsss, the card??? (wink! wink!). I gotta find one more luggage bag to put those things and thank you to Mr Joe who willing to give me his bag, as I was thinking of buying a new one, actually....
Mar 18, 2013
After passed out last night, I woke up at 4.00 am and couldnt sleep......Hu Hu Hu....Tomorrow will start working but I couldnt forget the 'COACH' sales at Leesburg premium outlet yesterday, . I plan one more visit to coach later.... syhhh... and this is going to be the final one.... I PROMISE!!!, no more shopping outlet.
Food - I just know that the fish n chips here is far more delicious than at my place. But they don't take chilli sauce, only ketchup. So far, the Executive Director cum my friend of about 17 years is taking a good care of me. Thank you Mr Kassim, and of course thank you for the yummy, yummy nasik lemak and mee goreng after days without local dish.
Hotel is excellent, but as you know, it is bbboorrringg, as I always tried to find ways not to be in it much, but nevertheless, I will be here after dinner, and there is no more place to go until 9.00 pm as all the shops and eateries will be closed at 9.00.

Washington DC (Mar 15-24, 2013)
Mar 16, 2013 (a.m.)
Am just arrived WDC this morning. Travelling was exhausted. Depart at about 8.30am from KUL to LA, 10 + 6 hours flight with one transit at Narita Airport Tokyo. Luckily, I got the business class Boeing 747. So I guess, I should had enough sleep but the person (Chinese good looking guy) sat next to me took a lot of wine (in whatever colours they had). I'm a bit worried if he's getting out-of-control and crazier... He!! He!! He!!!, just a naughty thought that simply 'string' in my head at that moment!!! (Wink! wink!). But anyway.. am still safe and sound!! but next time I would rather request to sit next to each other... (but he's the boss..., urghh!!!!) - well!!! think about the trick later...
Hmm.. first time eating Japanese noodle food, not bad and I like the seaweed, anyway... and there were sooo much food after the appetiser noodle. The one that I like most was (of course), local dish satay lah.
Arrived in LA airport, waiting for connection flight for 9 hours before fly to WDC (IAD) for another 5 hours. Fuuyoo! And now, walla... am arrived and gotta have some rest (only two hours) before started with my next adventure, SHOPPING!!! ops only WINDOW SHOPPING....
Mar 16, 2013 (p.m.)
Hm... I just came back from dinner, felt sleepy but take a few minutes to jot down this.... and sorry if I suddenly pass-out without saying good bye... zzzz...zzz...
